Gunther Schurr is an undergraduate student at Brigham Young Univerity–Idaho studying Computer Information Technology. He attributes 13 years of learning the piano to the continual improvement of his keyboard typing speed, which does come in handy for his major; however, he confesses that he is a master of neither.

Gunther first realized he was not destined to be a poor singer after discovering how to sing Bass at a church youth camp, and has enjoyed the range for many years.

Gunther was born and raised in a rural area near Wichita, Kansas. Despite the German origins of all his family ancestry, and his name, he only knows a few words of the language, most of which he mispronounces (Entschuldigung).
